Grand Tradition Martial Arts-Linden (GTMA-Linden) students participate in community events as well as association tournaments, clinics and extravaganzas.  On this page you will see some photos of GTMA-Linden students at some of these events.

Brothers, Danny (left) and Nathan (right) Weller received their Dan certificates at the 2008 Master's Extravaganza which was held in the Chicago area.  Danny is now an official Cho Dan (first degree black belt) and Nathan, an E Dan (second degree black belt).  Congratulations men!


The GTMA-Linden karate class helped to celebrate the 25th birthday of the World Tang Soo Do Association by marching in the Linden Holiday Happenings parade and having a birthday party complete with a 'wood breaking' extravaganza afterward.  December 1, 2007 was a fun day for everyone!

August 6, 2007 brought three very special guests to our class.  Master A. Brace from GTMA-Livonia, 4th Dan, Mr. Bud Draper from Soldatna, Alaska and 2nd Dan, Ms. Kelsy Anderson, from Florida   (4th, 5th & 8th from left -back row).

The photo above shows GTMA - Linden students (L-R) Jesse Kotalik, Preston Terrell, Danny Weller, Spencer Terrell and Jeff Kotalik who all won medals at the Region 5 Regional Championships in April 2009.  Congratulations gentlemen!  Instructors, Mrs. Genie Munch and Master Chris Anderson are in the middle.

Grand Tradition Martial Arts-Linden students; Nathan Weller, Spencer Terrell and Danny Weller recently tested for Dan rank at the May Regional Tournament weekend.  Pictured here with Grand Master Shin, Spencer and Nathan are the first two on the left in the back row, Danny is second from left in the front row.  Nathan was testing for 2nd Dan, Spencer and Danny for 1st Dan.  Great work men!
